EXOTIC (Level 3+4)

Learn a complete routine in this class. Transitions and techniques will be taught at a high stamina and strength level. Instructor will add advanced tricks into choreography: one-arm handstand combos, floor or aerial handsprings, ayeshas, reverse backhand grab combos, aerial split grip to apprentice, devils point shuffle, shoulder mount flips and more. Please do not sign up for this class if you are a high level pole tricker with no Russian Exotic or Plastic Strip experience.

Required Moves: Princess grip shoulder mount to brass monkey, shoulder mount walk downs, flag, gemini climb/devils point shuffle, controlled one arm handstand press to meathook, fish flop, wheel to kip, floor and/or aerial handspring.

Prerequisites:  Exotic (Level 2+3). Students should be taking Elements 3 or higher and Plastic Strip (Level 2) or (Level 3) and have required moves.

Cancellations: Make you booking wisely. Single class purchases do not allow for cancellations. However, "Unlimited Plan" members can cancel class with no impact.

What to Wear?

Knee Pads should be worn to class. Exotic Fit Style requires dancers to kneel, rotate, move through and kip to the knees. Please take this extra precaution to avoid long term injury to your knees and help avoid bursitis. We highly recommend KISKA velcro knee pads as these are quick and easy to put on without taking off your heels. 

Heels are required and necessary to the movements and an over all workout technique of plastics. For the most success in class we recommend wearing “strips” (8 inch platform heels) to be able to properly maneuver over and around the toe box of the shoe during pointework and transitions.

Skin Exposure As a general rule, look at what skin your instructor has exposed and consider you may need to grip with these body parts during class. Level 3-4: You may need shoulder, knee pit, and upper thigh skin exposed to grip the pole during advanced elements and transitions. At this level you should be strong enough to go without armpit grip so cover up or show as much skin as you prefer.
